Shruthi Haasan, the daughter of versatile actor Kamal Haasan, has been roped in an upcoming action and romantic entertainer ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ to play the female lead role. Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is playing the lead role in Amar Akbar Anthony and currently the movie is progressing at brisk pace in US. Ravi Teja will make his screen presence in triple avatar in AAA aka Amar Akbar Anthony and each of his characters will be paired opposite a different actress.
Malyali beauty Anu Emmanuel who was recently seen in Stylish star Allu Arjun’a Naa Peru Surya, is also playing one of the female lead. The sources say, Shruthi Haasan has been roped in as the second female lead for Amar Akbar Anthony, and a third actress may also be signed soon.
Earlier both Shruthi Haasan and Ravi Teja have worked together for an action comedy movie Balupu in 2013, directed by Gopichand Malineni, which was hit at the box office.
Amar Akbar Anthony is being helmed by Srinu Vaitala. Shruthi Hassan and Srinu Vaitala have also worked together for a movie Aagadu starring Mahesh Babu and Baahubali fame Tamannah Bhatia, where Shruthi Haasan shook her legs for a item song “Junction Lo” .
In Tollywood, Shruthi Haasan was last seen in Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayudu , which was commercially flop at the box office. Amar Akbar Anthony offers Shruti Haasan a chance to make a successful comeback into Tollywood.
Ravi Teja and Srinu Vaitla have worked together for a comedy ‘Venky’ which was a smash hit at the box office. They ( Srinu Vaitala and Ravi Teja) also collaborated once again for ‘Dubai Seenu’ in 2017.
Vikramjeet Virk is playing important role in Amar Akbar Anthony, which is being bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar and Mohan Cherukuri under the banner Mythri Movie Makers.
- Thaman is on the board to compose the music of Amar Akbar Anthony whereas Venkat C Dileep is handling the cinematography work.
The makers of Amar Akbar Anthony has already clarified that Telugu film has no connection with Manmohan Desai’s 1977 comedy featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna and Rishi Kapoor .
Comedian Sunil has also joined the team as a full-length comedy artist in Abar Akbar Anthony. One more highlight of Amar Akbar Anthony will be Ravi Teja’s son Mahadhan in a superb role.
Shruthi Haasan was recently spotted with her British boyfriend Michael Corsale in the city. They seemed extremely comfortable and happy in each other’s presence. It is heard that Shruthi Haasan has already introduced Michael Corsale to her dad Kamal Haasan.
Shruthi Haasan will also be seen in Kamal Haasan’s bilingual Telugu- Tamil movie Sabaash Naidu .
