We have already reported that Tamil politician Kamal Haasan is the latest celebrity to have been diagnosed Coronavirus after returning from a recent trip to the USA. The 67 years old actor, who is vaccinated against COVID-19 has been hospitalized. On Monday, the actor himself confirmed the same by sharing a post that he has tested positive for covid-19. On Wednesday, Kamal Haasan’ daughter, Shruti Haasan shared a health update on social media. In her tweet, Gabbar Singh and Krack fame Shruti Haasan said, “Thank you for all your wishes and prayers for my father’s health. He is recovering well and is looking forward to interacting with all of you soon.” She also thanked everyone by saying, “Thankyou for all your wishes and prayers for my father’s health. He is recovering well and is looking forward to interacting with all of you soon.”
In his statement, Kamal Haasan had said that he experienced a mild cough following his return from the US.
On the work front, Kamal Haasan will be seen playing the lead role in action drama Vikram under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj. He is also the host of TV show Bigg Boss 5 Tamil. Meanwhile Shruti Haasan is sharing the screen space with Prabhas in Prashanth Neel’ directorial venture Salaar.
