Shyam Singha Roy is the costliest project of Nani in his filmy career. The upcoming film is touted to be a supernatural thriller drama. It is helmed by Rahul Sankrityan. It is being heard that the satellite rights of Shyam Singha Roy which has Nani and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles, were sold for a whopping price.
Gemini TV bought the satellite rights of Shyam Singh Roy for a whopping amount of Rs 10 Cr, which is the biggest ever satellite rights deal for Nani. The romantic and family drama also has Uppena girl Krithi Shetty, and Madonna Sebastian in the female leads. Rahul Sankrityan’ directorial venture Shyam Singha Roy is based on the theme of reincarnation, and is bankrolled by Venkat Boyanapalli.
The makers of the movie Shyam Singha Roy, have now organized the pre-release event. The movie’s pre-release event is to be organized at Rangleela Maidan, Warangal, on 14th December.
Nani, who is known for his natural performance, is said to have portrayed a revolutionary writer in the movie, while Sai Pallavi apparently plays a Devadasi. The movie features a 1970’s Kolkata backdrop, while Nani is seen in a dual role in this flick.
Slated for its release on 24th December, the upcoming film Shyam Singha Roy has been in the limelight for quite a long time.
