South actor Siddharth has shared an open letter to apologies to Saina Nehwal for his controversial reply to her tweet.
Siddharth said that he was trying to make a joke with his original comment, but it ‘didn’t land’. The actor wrote, “Dear Saina, I want to apologize to you for my rude joke that I wrote as a response to a tweet of yours, a few days ago. I may disagree with you on many things but even my disappointment or anger when I read ur tweet, can not justify my tone and words. I know I have more grace in me than that. As for the joke, If the joke needs to be explained, then it was not a very good joke to begin with. Sorry about a joke that didn’t land.” And added: You will always be my champion.
