The renowned choreographer Sivasankar passed away on  Sunday night on 28th November, His demise sent a shock across the South film industries. The National Award-winning choreographer Sivasankar breathed his last at a private hospital in Hyderabad.  He had contracted the deadly Covid-19 virus after which he was immediately admitted to a private hospital where he was undergoing treatment

Authorities at AIG Hospitals, where  the choreographer Sivasankar underwent treatment, have informed the family members that  he had tested negative for Coronavirus before his demise.

His dead body will be taken to his residence at Panchavati Colony in Manikonda, Hyderabad for his fans and well-wishers to pay their last respects. His last rites will be held today afternoon at 2 PM at Maha Prasthanam.

A few days ago, Sivasankar master and his elder son Vijay Shivashankar tested positive of the novel coronavirus. His health condition worsened after which he was shifted to the ICU (Intensive Care Unit).

Sivasankar  master is popularly known for his work  in the films Suryavamsam, Varalaaru, Poove Unakkaga, Thiruda Thirudi, and Baahubali: The Beginning. As an actor, he acted in few Tamil films like Sarkar, Paradesi and Varalaaru.

RRR and Baahubali film maker SS Rajamouli said on Twitter: ”Sad to know that reknowned choreographer Sivasankar Master garu has passed away. Working with him for Magadheera was a memorable experience. May his soul rest in peace. Condolences to his family.”
