
A huge fire broke out in Swapnalok Complex in Secunderabad around 7.30 pm. The third floor was engulfed in flames, creating a terrifying atmosphere. Immediately after receiving the information about the incident, the fire brigade reached the spot. Meanwhile, it seems that some people are trapped on the 3rd and 8th floor. Those stranded are expected to be crew members. 6 people were killed in a fire that broke out on the seventh and eighth floors of Secunderabad’s Swapnalok Complex.
6 fire brigade vehicles came to extinguish fire. A campaign was launched to save the people. When the firemen reached the spot after getting the information, many people were running here and there showing mobile torches and pleading for rescue. Short circuit is said to be the cause of the fire.
A police officer revealed that the victims likely died from inhaling the smoke but the definite cause of the death will be known after the investigation. The police also revealed that the people who died in this fire were employed in a marketing company which had an office in the complex,
12 people were admitted to different hospitals and 6 of them died during treatment at one of hospitals. The officer said the rest were still undergoing treatment.
