Telugu actress Sobhita Dhulipala, who has acted in several hit movies such as Major, Goodachari, Ramana Raghav 2.0, and The Night Manager, is once again in the news headlines. According to the latest report, Sobhita Dhulipala is going to make her Hollywood debut with an upcoming drama which is titled Monkey Man. Touted to be an action thriller, Monkey Man is helmed by Dev Patel and is bankrolled by Universal Pictures.
Dev Patel is playing the lead role in this film. Sharone Meir, known for award-winning movies like Whiplash, serves as Director of Photography.
Set in India, the film Monkey Man is inspired by the legend of Hanuman. The movie will hit the theatres on April 5.
Recently the makers released the trailer of the action thriller Monkey Man. The over 3-minute-long trailer follows a man (Dev Patel)’s quest for vengeance against corrupt leaders who murdered his mother (played by Adithi Kalkunte) and continue to systemically victimize the poor and powerless.
The film Monkey Man will release via Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw and its deal at Universal. Apart from the lead actors, the film also has Sharlto Copley, Pitobash, Vipin Sharma, Makarand Deshpande, Sikandar Kher, Adithi Kalkunte, and Ashwini Kalsekar in the important roles.
