Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, who is actively involved in helping those in need amid the pandemic, on Monday issued a clarification and gave proof after it was suggested on Twitter that he took credit for arranging a bed for covid patient, despite never having contacted the authorities.
Sonu Sood shared screenshots of a WhatsApp conversation against a tweet made by Odisha DM’s on having no communication with the actor on finding a hospital bed for a patient, and confirmed that he arranged the bed because the patient’ family approached him for this help.
On Monaday, the official Twitter account of the Collector and DM of Ganjam, Odisha responded to a tweet by actor Sonu Sood where he claims he has arranged for the bed for a Coronavirus patient at Ganjam City Hospital in Brahmapur. Ganjam trolled Sonu Sood for his recent oxygen bed to a Covid person. The tweet comes in response to the actor’ tweet posted on 15th may that read, “Not to worry. A bed has been arranged at hospital- Ganjam City, Berhampur.”
The tweet in response to which B town actor Sonu Sood wrote this, has been deleted.
