Hyderabad Police booked  South actor  Siddharth for allegedly making derogatory comments against  Indian shuttle Saina Nehwal.

According to the latest report, KVM Prasad, Additional DCP, Cyber Crime Wing, Detective Department, Hyderabad said, “A woman named Prerna approached Cyber Crime Wing and lodged a complaint against Siddharth for his s*xist remarks against Saina Nehwal on Twitter.

 The senior police official informed that based on the complaint a case has been registered against the actor under IPC Section 509 and under other relevant sections of the Information Technology Act.

 Recently when the  badminton player Saina Nehwal denounced PM Modi’s security failure at Ferozepur, she had tweeted that the security of a country’s PM is jeopardized, and no country can claim to be safe and she condemns the barbaric attack on PM Modi. Siddharth had replied to Saina and retweeted: Subtle c**k champion of the world… Thank God we have protectors of India Shame on you #Rihanna.

 However later the actor apologized to the badminton player writing an open letter, which he posted on Twitter.

 On the work front, Siddharth was last seen playing one of the lead role in Ajay Bhupathi’ magnum opus Maha Samudram and he will be seen in Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan.
