Samantha Ruth Prabhu was born to a Telugu father, Joseph Prabhu and a Malayali mother, Ninette Prabhu. She was born and brought up in Chennai Tamil Nadu as the youngest child of the family, with two elder brothers Jonathan and David, whilst becoming fluent in the Tamil language. Despite her mixed background, she has cited herself as a Tamilian. Though Rangasthalam lady born as a Christian, but she has been strongly inclined towards the Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev for quite some time.
Now according to the latest report, Samantha turned spiritual and is now doing some japams holding a chain of beads in her hand as it’s bestowing solace to her. The actress who is an active user of the social media sites, took to her Insta story and shared the pic, where she is seen doing some japams.
Few are also saying that this pic is the part of promotional activates of her upcoming film Shaakuntalam which is gearing up for grand release very soon.
Shaakuntalam is a mythological drama film written and directed by Gunasekhar and is produced by Neelima Guna under Gunaa Teamworks and distributed by Sri Venkateswara Creations. The much hyped movie features Samantha in the titular role of Shakuntala and Dev Mohan as Dushyanta, along with Mohan Babu, Gautami, Aditi Balan and Ananya Nagalla in supporting roles.
