Tamil hero Arya who received a lot of appreciation for playing the role of Kabilan Munirathnam in the film ‘Sarpatta Parambarai’ is in legal trouble. According to the latest report, a Sri Lankan woman named Vidja who resides in Germany claimed that Arya had cheated her.
Vidja had filed an online complaint through a Germany based lawyer that Arya had cheated her for Rs 70 lakh by promising to marry her. She has also submitted the screenshot of her WhatsApp chat with Arya, and she has also claimed to issue a release ban for the movies of Arya.
The lady revealed that Arya promised to marry her and she also transferred Rs 70 Lakh to him. Upon receiving the complaint, the police contacted Arya and asked him to appear for questioning. Arya appeared before the cybercrime wing of the Chennai city police after the cops summoned him based on the complaint and he was questioned for three hours.
Investigations are going on and the details are sought as to whether there are grounds for the complaint made against him.
