Aamir Khan, who is known as Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist, disappointed the movie lovers last year with his film Laal Singh Chadha. The film, which also starred Tollywood actor Naga Chaitanya, failed miserably at the box office. Although Aamir Khan had high hopes on this movie which was a remake of Hollywood movie Forrest Gump, but it disappointed the viewers.
Earlier, Aamir Khan’ cousin and director Mansoor Khan had said that Mr perfectionist’s acting in the Bollywood adaptation of the Hollywood classic Forrest Gump was over the top. But now he has revealed that SS Rajamouli had also informed Aamir Khan that was ‘overacting’ in the film.
It is remarkable that Aamir Khan’s cousin, director Mansoor Khan said this. Directed by Advait Chandan, Aamir Khan played the role of a mentally immature man. In fact, when this movie was released, Aamir’s performance was criticized.
Mansoor revealed that when he spoke to Aamir, he told him about Rajamouli’s comments : “Aamir Khan has a good sense of humor. But a person like SS Rajamouli said :”I felt like Aamir Khan was overacting.”
Aamir Khan’s first film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak was directed by Mansoor Khan in 1988. After the failure of Laal Singh Chadha, Aamir took a break from films for a year. Since then he has not accepted another film.
