All eyes are on Village based drama Rangasthalam, which is gearing up for grand release on 30th March 2018. Currently the entire team is busy in the promotional activities of the film. As the film is helmed by creative and talented film maker Sukumar, audiences expect an intelligent story which is confusing to the common audiences with those mind games and twists like in the case of ‘1-Nenokkadine’ starring Mahesh Babu and ‘Nannaku Prematho’ starring Young Tiger Jr.NTR
The director has promised that there wouldn’t be any mind games and ‘Rangasthalam’ would be a simple story with a normal political drama set in the 1980s. There would not be any top intelligent scenes in the movie like his earlier scripts.
In one of the interviews, Ram Charan surprised everyone by saying that he had okayed Rangasthalam even without listening to the script. The actor also revealed that during the shoot of Dhruva, Sukumar met him and asked if he would be interested in a complete village entertainer. Next day, Sukumar came to reveal the story and said that he would be seen playing hearing impaired character. As he was mesmerized by his characterization, said yes to Sukumar.”
Rangasthalam also stars Samantha Akkineni, Jagapathi Babu, Aadhi Pinisetty and Anasuya in prominent roles. Mythri Movie Makers banner has bankrolled this high budget entertainer and Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music.
Ram Charan’s performance is expected to be one of the major highlights of this much-awaited movie.
