During the promotional event of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Megastar Chiranjeevi revealed that he bought the remake rights of Malayalam movie Lucifer in which Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal played the lead role. After hearing this, everyone was eager to know who will helm the Telugu remake of Lucifer. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Sukumar is on the board to helm the action entertainer- Telugu remake of Lucifer in which Chiranjeevi will play the lead role and this action entertainer will be bankrolled by none other than Mega Power Star Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela Productions.
The Lucifer remake of Chiranjeevi with Sukumar is expected to go on floors next year. The sources say that Chiranjeevi, who was very impressed with the script and wanted to star in the remake version of the highest-grossing Malayalam film ever, was looking for a talented filmmaker who has complete command over the script and the craft while keeping up the style quotient of the film. Finally, Chiranjeevi roped Sukumar in to direct the film.
Chiranjeevi is very impressed with Sukumar’s work in Rangasthalam starring Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni. Chiru is confident that the director will do complete justice to Lucifer’s remake, too.
