Senior actress Sumalatha was seen alongside Chiranjeevi in many films like Aalayasikharam, Chattamtho Poratam, Subhalekha and other movies in 90’s. Now, she is making her comeback with the upcoming mega movie Waltair Veerayya that has Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja in the main roles.
There has been a talk in the industry that Sumalatha is going to be seen as the mother of Ravi Teja in the movie. The same will be announced by the makers soon. The film has already commenced its shoot recently and Ravi Teja has also joined the sets.
Bobby is wielding the megaphone for the film. Wltair Veerayya marks Megastar’s 154th film in his career. Shruthi Haasan and Catherine Tresa are the female leads. Whereas, talented actors like Rajendra Prasad, Vennela Kishore and Bobby Simha will be seen in supporting roles. Mythri Movie Makers are brankrolling the project and the film is expected to hit theatres during Sankarathi 2023.
