Uday Kiran  made his Tollywood debut under his mentor, cinematographer turned film director Teja in the year 2000 with the film Chitram, in which he played the 17-year-old lead character. The actor  who had been the part of few successful movies such as Nuvvu Neenu, Manasantha Nuvve and Sriram, committed suicide on 5th January 2014. At the time, there were allegations that Chiranjeevi played a major role in  Telugu actor Uday Kiran’ depression. There was also strong buzz that  his film career took a huge dip after he called off his wedding with Chiranjeevi’ eldest daughter Sushmitha. Few people also claimed  that this was the reason behind his suicide.

Finally Sundeep Kishan has confirmed that neither he is going to act in Uday Kiran biopic, nor he is going to bankroll it under his banner.

On the workside, Sundeep Kishan was last seen in Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL, where he shared the screen space with  Hansika Motwani.  Sundeep Kishan is currently busy in the shoot of his upcoming sport based drama A1 Express.  A1 Express, which is based on Hockey,  is directed by debutante Dennis Jeevan Kanukolanu. Apart from playing the lead role, Sundeep Kishan is also bankrolling the project in association with People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts banners.
