We at tollywood.net recently reported that the actor and director of Kantara, Rishab Shetty met with Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth, who heaped praise on the film. Rajinikanth showered the praises on the film and said, “Movies like Kantara happen once in 50 years.” According to the latest report, Superstar Rajinikanth gifted Rishab Shetty a gold chain with a Baba pendant.
Rishab Shetty revealed, “I also got his blessings. In interaction, we discussed about Kantara in length. He was curious to know how we shot certain scenes and told the movies like Kantara can happen once in 50 years.”
Currently Rishab Shetty is basking in the glory of her successful movie Kantara. The movie is receiving the positive reception since the day of release on September 30.
Rishab Shetty starrer Kantara is a film about the man vs wild conflict. Written and helmed by Rishab Shetty, the movie also has Sapthami Gowda, Achyuth Kumar, Pramod Shetty, Kishore, and Prakash Thuminad, Ajaneesh Lokanth and Arvind Kashyap have handled the music and cinematography, departments respectively.
The movie Kantara is produced by Hombale Films. Kantara’s glorious theatrical run doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. The movie was a slow starter at the box office, but once it caught momentum, it saw collections increase on a week-on-week basis.
