Krishna experimented a lot from his first film and gave a new experience to the audience. That is why the audience tied the title of superstar to Krishnagari. Many people of the present generation do not know that Krishna is a former Lok Sabha MP. From the film industry, NTR entered politics by founding the Telugu Desam Party. All the people in Telugu states supported him. When Superstar Krishna NTR participated in the first election, he made a movie called ‘Eenadu’. It is a plus for TDP as it is in favor of Telugu Desam Party policies. After that, there was some distance between Krishna and NTR.
Later there was an announcement in the paper that Krishna was supporting Nadendla Bhaskar Rao. With this, NTR-Krishna became rivals in terms of politics. Later, many films were made against Krishna.. NTR’s policies. There were many obstacles for their release from NTR’s government. At the same time, Rajiv Gandhi and Krishna became friends. He was from Eluru in West Godavari district in the year 1989 with the encouragement of Rajiv Gandhi
He contested for the Lok Sabha and won with a majority of 71 thousand votes. But after Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated, by-elections were held two years later and Krishna lost. After that he stayed away from politics. But because of their closeness with YS Rajasekhar Reddy, they acted as supporters of the Congress party. Krishna was a supporter of the Congress party till his death.
