Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth is currently waiting for the release of his next upcoming film Darbar, which is being helmed by AP Murugadoss. The shoot has been already wrapped up and the movie is slated to hit the theaters on the occasion of Pongal 2020. Today Rajinikanth has made an official announcement regarding his next upcoming project. Sun Pictures, the production house, took to Twitter to share a video and announced their new venture with Rajinikanth.
Rajinikanth is going to team up with Siruthai Siva for the first time. The film has been tentatively titled Thalaivar 168. Recently Rajinikanth and Siruthai Siva met and discussed the project. After the first meeting, Rajinikanth suggested a few changes in the script.
The sources revealed that Siruthai Siva was also invited to Rajinikanth’s house to attend Golu on the occasion of Navarathri.
This is the third time, Rajinikanth is going to work with Sun Pictures. Touted to be a commercial venture, the movie set in a rural backdrop. The pre-production work is currently going on at the brisk pace and the film is expected to go on floors next year. Rajinikanth starrer Thalaivar 168 will also be produced by Studio Green KE Gnanavel Raja.
Very soon the official announcement will take place regarding the rest of the cast and crew.
