On the occasion of the successful release of Megastar Chiranjeevi‘s latest film ‘Godfather’, Telugu Film Journalist Association (TFJA) executive committee members and representatives of TV channels congratulated him at his residence on Thursday. On this occasion, Chiranjeevi, who participated in a tea party with the media representatives, talked about his films in detail. He opened his mind about the aftermath of the movie ‘Acharya’. He also said that after the success of ‘Godfather’, he felt it was his duty to meet those who were expressing joy with him. He said that he was not depressed by the defeat of ‘Acharya’ and now he is not overwhelmed by the success of ‘Godfather’, he has achieved such stability.
Director Sukumar said that the idea of remaking ‘Lucifer’ in Telugu was strong in Ram Charan and advised him to start the project with someone else as he did not have time to direct. Chiranjeevi said that he had given up the idea of a remake of the film at one point, but Ram Charan and NV Prasad chose director Mohana Raja for this project and it got back on track. Chiranjeevi said that with the success of this film, he believed that Telugu writers would make different stories for him, and because of the change in the audience during Corona, he bravely made a different film like ‘Lucifer’. Chiranjeevi specially congratulated Satyadev who played a key role in this film. Also, director Bobby ‘Waltheru Veeraiya’ and Meher Ramesh’s ‘Bhola Shankar’ films, which are currently on the sets, also told the representatives of Chiranjeevi Association.
On this occasion, Chiranjeevi once again recalled his long association with the Telugu Film Journalist Association. The members of the committee who are working for the welfare of film journalists are specially appreciated. He said that it was a great pleasure to meet everyone during the distribution of health cards and he is happy to meet them again on this occasion. T.F.J.A said that they should make more successful films like ‘Godfather’, so that they all get a chance to meet again and again. President Secretary V. Lakshmi Narayana, Y. J. Rambabu said.
