Recently Tamannah participated in an interview and talked about South Industry. She said that she entered the industry with the hope of becoming an actress. Now she has become a star. She is still working hard to entertain the audience. But now she is leaving some films. The reason for that is talking about the South industry, “They celebrate masculinity there,” she said.
Tamannah added: ‘In the South, there are more films that hype heroism. Have you ever said you don’t act because it shows too much heroism?’ A media person asked, “They use some formulas which are easy in South. Especially in some commercial films, there were times when the directors were asked to reduce the intensity of heroism without any problem for my character.
Also she said, ”In some commercial films I don’t connect with my character. That’s why I asked the makers to reduce my character. Seeing that, I slowly stopped doing such roles. I am making a conscious effort not to be a part of movies that celebrate toxic masculinity,” Tamannah said shockingly on commercial movies in the South.
