Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC) elections are being held today (Sunday) at Film Chamber in Film Nagar. Darshakha producer Tammareddy Bharadwaja who came to vote in the election made shocking comments. Tammareddy, expressed mixed feelings, unsure whether to rejoice in the chamber’s growth or be embarrassed by the election’s resemblance to general elections. He said that he does not know whether to be happy that the Film Chamber is holding elections or to be ashamed that it is being called a general election.
At the same time what are the members competing for? He also said that he has seen many elections and won as president of Film Chamber, but he has never seen such an environment. He said that watching the election campaign is scary. Tammareddy revealed that he wants this not to happen in the future.
In the meantime, Tammareddy got stuck in controversies by commenting that Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR had spent 80 crores to get an Oscar.
Meanwhile, Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce election polling is underway with enthusiasm. Competing in the election held once every 2 years are Dil Raju and C Kalyan. The polling commenced at 8 am and will continue until 3 pm. Voters from the distribution sector, studio sector, the producer sector, and executive sector will cast their votes.
