Telangana Chief Minister KCR had his fanboy moment fulfilled when he met his favourite director K Vishwnath, at the latter’s residence on Sunday. Viswanath, his wife Mrs Jayalakshmi, their son Ravindranath, Daughter in law Gowri, Director N Shankar have accorded a warm welcome to KCR.
KCR expressed his wish to bankroll a movie under the direction of K Vishwanath, who was a recipient of five National Film Awards and six State Nandi Awards.
KCR said to Dadasaheb Phalke awardee K Vishwanath and requested him to plan a good storyline for a project. KCR said, “You should make films again. If you are ready to helm a movie. I am ready to bankroll it.”
KCR added, “I am your fan. I loved your movies since my childhood. I have watched your all the movies. I watched Sanka-rabharanam about 25 times.” Telangana Chief Minister also inquired about the health of Vishwanath. The national award winner Vishwnath said, “ The Doctors ask me to undergo a knee surgery, but I am afraid to do it,”
He further said that he was scared of blood and would not incorporate violence in his films. Vishwanath is popular for the movies which have lot of good values.
