The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has increased its aggressiveness in the last few days. It is known that many real estate companies are being flogged without permits or in violation of RERA regulations. Recently, three more real estate companies in the state have become serious. Heavy fines have been imposed on companies operating real estate business in violation of the rules.

Recently, Shokaju has issued notices to these companies for conducting promotional programs without ‘Rera’ permissions. Sanjaishi was ordered to submit within 15 days but did not respond. A heavy fine was imposed for being negligent in not giving answers within the deadline. This includes Srinivasam Developers (Rs. 3 lakhs), DNS Infra (36.50 lakhs), Suvarnabhumi Infra Developers Private Limited (Rs. 25 lakhs).

Virtual procedure has been introduced for speedy trial of real estate cases.  RERA Chairman stated that the virtual system has been started because senior citizens and people from faraway areas are facing difficulties. It has been revealed that this procedure will be implemented with new technology for the convenience of the complainants. It has been clarified that the complainants can attend the virtual hearing from anywhere.

Until now, the complainants and parties had to appear before the Rera Bench individually for the settlement of cases. As a result, the parties would suffer a lot. Keeping all these in mind, RERA has taken a decision in this direction.
