The crime thriller movie Regina starring has been released to the Telugu audience through direct OTT. The movie is streaming on Amazon Prime from Thursday.
The movie was released directly on Amazon Prime without any prior announcement. The Tamil version of Regina was released in theaters on June 23 last year. The makers have decided to release the movie Regina in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam simultaneously. Telugu promotions were done on a huge scale. As many Telugu films were released on June 23, Regina did not get the expected screens. With that, the Telugu release date has been postponed. As the movie was a disaster in Tamil, none of the distributors came forward to release Regina in Telugu. Regina Telugu version was released directly in OTT. Eight months after the release of the Tamil version in theatres, the Telugu version hit the screens.
Regina movie is directed by Malayalam filmmaker Domin D’Silva. Ananth Nag played a key role in Regina movie which was released as a revenge thriller. Sunaina acted in a complete action oriented role in this. Sunaina, who played soft roles in previous films, is seen in a challenging character.
Regina Tamil version is streaming on Amazon Prime as well as Aha OTT.
