Nandamuri Balakrishna‘s fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of his upcoming mass entertainer Veera Simha Reddy, which was announced for the coming Sankranthi release. Now, the tentative release date of the film is out as per the insiders.
Rumours are surrounding the industry that the film is scheduled to have its theatrical release on January 14, 2023. But there is no official confirmation regarding this so far. If the rumour is believed to be true, then the makers will announce it officially through social media.
However, the film is going to lock horns with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming release Waltair Veeraiah, which is also slated for Sankranthi release. Surely, it will be a tough competition between the two star heroes, as both the films belong to mass genre. Waltair Veeraiah is hitting screens on January 11, 2023. Now, it remains to be seen which will the Sankranthi hit between them, if Veera Simha Reddy locks its release on 14th of the same month.
Mumbai beauty Sruthi Hasan is playing the leading lady opposite Balakrishna. Gopichand Malineni is doinning a directing hat for Veera Simha Reddy and Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling the project with a budget of Rs 70 crores. Thaman is the tunesmith. Duniya Vijay, Honey Rose, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and others are the supporting characters.
