Leo is one of the most hyped films in South India  which is gearing up for the grand release this year. The film is being made by Lokesh Kanakaraj, the director who gave a blockbuster like ‘Vikram’,  and has Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role. But the hype that was there until yesterday. As the trailer of this movie did not live up to the expectations, there was a lot of negativity on social media.

Looking at the trailer, it seems that Lokesh Kanakaraj has made ‘Leo’ based on the super hit Hollywood movie ‘A History of Violence’.

Based on the 1997 graphic novel titled ‘A History of Violence’, a movie with the same name was made in Hollywood. The movie released in 2005 was a super hit. Tom Stahl, a hotel owner, shoots and kills two robbers who tried to rob his hotel. He becomes a hero. The media writes great things about him. But the mafia gangs in the city target Stahl as a gangster. They target his family.

With this, the hero goes through many hardships to save his family. Then the real gangster comes out. Lokesh Kanagaraj Indianized this story. Netizens are comparing many shots in the trailer with ‘A History of Violence’.

For a long time, it was rumored that Leo is inspired by or is a remake of the 2005 Hollywood film A History of Violence and finally it has been proved.
