Story: Priya (Anasuya Bharadwaj) is a pregnant widow and Abhi is a young guy who loves to live life partying and wooing women. One day both Priya and Abhi stuck in an elevator.  The situation worsens after Priya goes into labor. Will Abhi save Priya? What will happen now?  To get these answers, one should watch the movie Thank you brother.

Plus Points:

  • Performance
  • Anasuya
  • Cinematography

 Minus Points:

  • Few routine scenes
  • Lack of emotional connection
  • Weak comedy
  • Poorly presented flashback

Performance: Viraj Ashwin, in the role of spoilt brat whose life revolves around parties, friends and wooing women for one night stands,  delivers his best performance. Anasuya Bharadwaj as a pregnant lady, who loses her husband in a factory accident, gives a top notch performance. Mounika Reddy, Anish Kuruvilla, Viva Harsha, and Adarsh Kiran perform well in their roles.

Technical:  The story of Thank You Brother is interesting but falters in its execution. The story picks up momentum well into the second half, as it  inches towards the climax. The comedy is weak and there is a poorly presented flashback. The director Ramesh Raparthi gives more screen time for  the story of Abhi and does now showcase Anasuya Bharadwaj and her problems much. The  lockdown subplot does not gel with the plot. BGM isn’t up to the mark and the emotions fall flat.

Analysis: Anasuya Bharadwaj delivers a mature performance as the pregnant lady and she has a strong screen presence.
