Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry, Venkatesh Daggubati is teaming up with Tharun Bhascker for an upcoming project, which is  set against the backdrop of the Hyderabad Race Club. It was heard that as Venkatesh was very happy with the script, narrated by Tharun Bhascker, verbally agreed to be part of the film.  But till date there is no any update, regarding this project.

 Meanwhile Venkatesh  Daggubati has started the shoot of Naarappa, the remake of Dhanush starrer Asuran. Now a rumor is doing rounds that Tharun Bhasckar is now getting ready to move out of  Venkatesh Daggubati starrer film.

 The sources say that the producer Suresh Babu and Venkatesh Daggubati are upset with Tharun Bhascker that he is not focusing on script and direction, but actually trying to become an actor. It is known news that Tharun Bhascker made his acting debut as a lead actor with a comedy drama Meeku Maatrame Chepta, which was produced by Vijay Deverakonda.

 Venkatesh was last seen in multistarrer Venky Mama, a romantic family entertainer also starring Naga Chaitanya, Payal Rajput and Raashi Khanna.

 Currently he is busy in his ongoing project Naarappa, which is being helmed by Srikanth Addala who is known for films like Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Brahmotsavam. The Telugu remake Naarappa  of Venkatesh and Priyamani starrer will be bankrolled by Suresh Babu and the original producer Kalaipuli S Thanu under Suresh Productions and V Creations, respectively. It is heard that Priyamani will play the female lead.
