It is known news that last year during an interview, SS Rajamouli himself confirmed his next project with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu. Incidentally, Bharat Ane Nenu fame star had put out a tweet a decade ago that he would be teaming up with Rajamouli.
However, the collaboration did not happen for various reasons and SS Rajamouli went on to make Baahubali 1 and 2, both the historic and war dramas turning out to be massive hits. Meanwhile, an interesting update about the Rajamouli and Maharshi star movie is circulating on social media and it is being heard that the film will have forest backdrop. The movie will set entirely in the forest backdrop.
SS Rajamouli’s father and Baahubali story writer Vijayendra Prasad has already prepared a jungle adventure story for Mahesh Babu. If everything goes as per plan, the upcoming untitled project will go on the floor on the occasion of Dusshera.
On the work front, Mahesh Babu is currently working on ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ under the direction of Parasuram of Geetha Govindam fame and in this film, he is essaying the role of a money lender. The team recently announced that it was postponing the shooting of the film as the deadly coronavirus was spreading at double speed in the second phase.
