SS Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR which had Young Tiger Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead role, is one of the highest grossers of 2022 in Indian Film Industry.  RRR helmer SS Rajamouli says he never saw or expected RRR to get this level of humongous appreciation from the audience and the media in the West and it has still not sunken in. The director speaks on the claims of his film RRR showing Britishers as villains.

Baahubali and Eega fame Rajamouli revealed,  “At the beginning of the film RRR,  you see the disclaimer card. Even if you miss it, it is  not a history lesson. It is  a story. The audience in general understands it. If a British is essaying the role of a villain, they understand that I am not saying all Britishers are villains. If my heroes are Indians, they understand that all Indians are heroes.”
