Sree Vishnu, who was a hit with the film ‘Raja Raja Chora’ last year, was immediately greeted by flops like ‘Arjuna Phalguna’ and ‘Bhala Tandanana’. But this time he came in front of the audience with the film ‘Alluri’ to make a hit. The film did not hit the morning shows due to non-finalization of financial settlements. The film was screened from matinees.
Pradeep Verma is making his debut as a director, and this film is produced by Bekkem Venugopal under the banner of ‘Lucky Media’, while Bekkem Babita acted as presenters. This film is getting a fair amount of talk but it would have been a blockbuster if there weren’t some minuses. Let’s have a look at those minuses:
1) First of all if it is a story.. There is no story of ‘Alluri’. The hero is a policeman. Unable to tolerate his aggression, local bullies and political leaders transfer him to different places. What are the problems faced in his personal life in this order? The story is that he faced them. No one will show interest in watching the movie if they say it is the same story. This is the minus. But the director makes the crowd sit with his take.
2) Because of seeing Sree Vishnu in soft roles before or because of the lack of success of his films like ‘Ma Abbai’ and ‘Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu’, it seems that he is not suited for such a powerful role. I also think it would have been better if he had been replaced by a crazier hero. But Sri Vishnu stepped out of his comfort zone and performed well.
3) The first half is a full commercial package, the interval scene is also good but the emotional connectivity feels missing.
4) In the second half, there will be no villains, police heroes doing challenges. As the background of terrorists comes, the movie feels like it is moving slowly.
5) Alluri was given the title, but in the second half, Alluri Sitarama Raju’s personal life was detailed. That also makes the movie feel slow.
6) The length of the movie is 2 hours 49 minutes which is a minus. There are also scenes that require scissor work. It should be said that this is a major minus. There is also an opinion among the people that tickets will not be booked if the run time is long for short films.
7) Heroine Kayadu Lohar’s role is only important..!
8) The feeling of ending the villain tracks is also felt.
9) There are thrilling factors in the second half but.. due to the second half lag, that feeling is missing.
10) People don’t remember songs at all. The background music is also so so. A good background score is essential for mass movies.
If these minuses had been taken care of.. this movie would have registered a blockbuster talk from the first show. You can try now for this weekend to be happy.
