Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been criticized on social media against singer Adnan Sami for calling him a frog in Pottakulam. At this year’s Oscars, the award for best original song was won by Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR’ song Naat Naatu. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s congratulatory tweet was about the sense of pride this award brings to the Telugu people.

Adnan Sami was left angered after AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy took to Twitter to congratulate the RRR team for the Oscar win of the song Naatu Naatu. Jagan tweeted: The #Telugu flag is flying higher! I’m filled with pride on a Telugu song, that so beautifully celebrates our folk heritage, being given its due recognition internationally today. @ssrajamouli, @tarak9999, @AlwaysRamCharan and @mmkeeravaani have truly redefined excellence!”
