The existence of casting couches/ harassment in the film and television industries is an open truth, and throughout the years, several celebrities have come forward to discuss their traumatic experiences. Recently during an interview, she revealed that she had been requested to perform certain “favours” in exchange for a significant part in a film but she bravely declined the offer, saying that she was confident that her skill would eventually make her one of the most well-known actors.
The lady superstar Nayanthara boldly admits the existence of casting couch in the film industry and said that she was offered an important film in exchange for a few ‘favors’ but even with nothing on her side, she was strong enough to ‘boldly say no to it’. The actress said that she always had faith in her capabilities and she knew better than to resort to casting couch for more opportunities in the entertainment industry.
Nayanthara has been in the news for her much hyped pan-Indian action thriller flick “Jawan,” which has Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan in the lead role and which will also mark her Bollywood debut. The film has a stellar cast that includes Deepika Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, and many more.
Nayanthara recently welcomed twins via surrogacy with her husband Vignesh Shivan.
