It is by now clear to everyone that Mega Star Chiranjeevi post the release of Acharya will be concentrating on his next film which is Malayalam block buster Lucifer remake which has Mohan Lal played the lead role. Sujeeth has been selected as the director for this project. While this is the official news, there are couple of speculations that are being spread.
It is said that Chiranjeevi has asked Sujeeth to make three major changes for the movie. Though Mohan Lal starrer Lucifer is a major hit, we can say that it needs few modifications to suit the taste of Telugu audiences. In Lucifer, Mohan Lal character didn’t have any heroine, so there are no songs for him. We cannot imagine Chiranjeevi without heroine and songs. So that might be the first change.
Second one will be the political orientation in the movie. In Lucifer there are many satires on the government. So Chiranjeevi asked Sujeeth to tone down this part. He doesn’t need any political comments now. Brother character of Mohan Lal too is very important in the movie. So Sujeeth was asked to concentrate more on that track.
With these three modifications done then we can say that almost the script for Lucifer remake is ready.
