Kollywood senior actor Junior Balaiah passed away on Thursday due to health problems. Junior Balayya played key roles in more than a hundred Tamil films in his forty years of film journey.

He breathed his last due to health problems. Junior Balayya entered the industry as the successor of legendary Tamil actor TS Balayya. He acted as a character artist and comedian in more than a hundred Tamil films in his forty years of film journey.

He shared the screen with today’s heroes like Ajith and Vijay, starting with the top heroes of yesteryear like Gemini Ganesan and Vijay Kant. Junior Balayya was introduced to the film industry as an actor with the movie Melnattu Marumagal. Chinnatai, Pavith, Avataram, Jayam, Kumki, Puli, Nerkonda Paravai and many other films have made Junior Balayya a good name as an actor.

He played pivotal roles in the web series Mugilan as well as some TV serials. His sister Mano Chitra has also done many films in Telugu and Tamil languages. 

He played an important role in Ajith’s Neerukonda Parvai and the last film he acted in was in 2021’s Yennanga Sir Unga Sattam’. He was also seen in TV serials TV serials including Chinna Papa Periya Papa, Sidhi.
