Jeeva, a transgender actress who acted in Vijay Sethupathi’s Dharma Durai, has been roped in upcoming much awaited movie starring Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth and Nayantara starrer, to play a key role in the film. It is known news that Nayantara is playing the female lead in Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer upcoming historic and war drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which is helmed by Surender Reddy and bankrolled by Ram Charan. In Darabar, Rajinikanth is playing tough cop whereas Nayantara will be seen playing the love interest of Rajinikanth.
Confirming the news, Seenu Ramasamy, who directed Dhamaduari, shared a pic of Jeeva with Rajinikanth taken in the caravan at the shooting location and wished her.
Jeeva will reportedly have some crucial scenes with Rajinikanth. As soon as the news of Jeeva inclusion in Rajinikanth and Nayantara starrer Darbar surfaced, AR Murugadoss was appreciated for his decision to rope in Jeeva.
The film also stars Nivetha Thomas, Sunil Shetty, Sriman and Prateik Babbar in crucial roles. Anirudh Ravichander is on the board to render the tune and Santosh Sivan is the cinematographer. 80% shoot of Darbar is completed and Rajinikanths portion is expected to be wrapped up by the second week of August. The patchwork and remaining works are likely to be completed in two weeks. The sources say that the full-fledged post-production works will happen in the month of September and October.
