Before the nationwide lockdown was imposed, Trisha Krishnan was shooting for Mani Ratnam’s period film, Ponniyin Selvan, which is based on the Tamil literary novel, written by Kalki Krishnamoorthy. The film also has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Sobhita Dhulipala and Aishwarya Lekshmi.
