Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja scored a blockbuster with action drama Krack, which was released last year. It was helmed by Gopichand Malineni and according to the makers the story of the film was based on the true incident. Krack was all about the real-life police officer from Ongole town in Andhra Pradesh. According to Gopichand, the characters were inspired by real people he happened to hear from his village elders during his students days, in his hometown. Ravi Teja played the role of SI Potharaju Veera Shanker, Samudrakani was seen as Katari and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar made her screen presence as Jayamma. Now nearly after one year of the release, a writer has complained to the Hyderabad Jubilee Hills police. Now Ravi Teja starrer Krack is in legal trouble.
Shiva Subramanya Murthy, a writer based in Alwal, Secunderabad, wrote a book in 2015 and he alleged that all the scenes in the Krack movie are inspired by his story. According to Shiva Subramanya Murthy he sent the notice to actor, director, and production companies that the scenes in his book were used in the movie Krack, but they did not respond.
Now finally Subramanya Murthy lodged a complaint with the Jubilee Hills police. The writer said that he had lodged a complaint with the local police station as producer Tagore Madhu was staying in Jubilee Hills.
