SIT is continuing its investigation in the TSPSC Paper Leak case. Many people have already been arrested and some others are being interrogated. A few irregularities keep coming out. On the other hand, it is known that the commission is also taking action against the accused. The SIT has filed a chargesheet in this case on Friday. It mentions the details of all 36 accused. The 98-page chargesheet mentions the arrest of 49 accused.
The SIT explained that transactions of Rs.1.63 crore have been done so far in this whole affair. It said that 49 people have been arrested except for one accused who is in New Zealand. Among those arrested, 16 were brokers and the rest were candidates for various exams, it said. After the leak of AEE question paper, 13 people, DAO paper 8 people and Group-1 prelims 4 people have been found. It said that the authorities have already seized the account details of the accused and the details of the money that has changed hands. It has been clarified that it intends to arrest some more people.
The SIT said that among the 15 accused who were arrested in this case, they are out on bail. It mentioned that the main accused Praveen, Rajasekhar Reddy and all the other accused are still in jail. Pula Ramesh has been found to have done hi-tech mass copying. It is said that Pula Ramesh sold the AE question paper to around 80 people. With the key information obtained from him, the number of arrests is likely to increase.
