Pracheen Chauhan is known for acting in Kasautii Zindagii Kay in which he appeared in the character of Subroto Basu. After that, he was seen in Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka, Kuchh Jhuki Palkain, Saat Phere and Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg. Pracheen has been nominated for Best Actor both across Television and Digital Awards. Now according to the latest update, Pracheen Chauhan has been arrested by Malad East police. The TV actor has been accused of molesting a 22 years old girl.
The Senior inspector at Kurar police station, revealed that the girl approached them and alleged that Pracheen Chauhan touched her inappropriately in an inebriated state. The actor has been booked under IPC sections 354, 342, 323 and 506.
Recently another TV actor Pearl V Puri was accused of the rape and molestation. On 4th June, he was arrested by the police and was booked under The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
However, Puri was granted bail on 15th June and further investigation is currently going on. Following release from the jail, Pearl V Puri issued an official statement and wrote, “Thank you for keeping faith in me and I am a firm believer of Satyamev Jatate.”
