Rashmi Desai revealed that she survived being a victim of casting couch. She added that she started her career in the entertainment industry when she was just 13 years old. She was young and from non-filmy background. She did not know anyone in the film industry When she went for the audition, the person there had tried to add the intoxicating substance to her drink, but she survived and the next day her mother had beaten that person fiercely.
Rashmi Desai added, “I still remember once a person named Sooraj told me that if I do not go through the casting couch then I will not get work in this industry.” She added, “When we first met, he asked me about my preparations. I told him that I do not know what he wants to ask and what he is saying. Rashmi Desai further added, “He was the first person who tried to take the advantage of me and tried to torture me in some way.”
