At the late night yesterday, esteemed social media app and website have gone down abruptly with transient disruption. The website DownDetector showed an outage for Twitter, so that the users have experienced many issues with the Twitter application and the website as well.
Specifying the issue to be a technical bug that was preventing timelines from loading and tweets from posting, the Twitter posted a tweet. The company tweeted, ” We’ve fixed a technical bug that was preventing timelines and loading the tweets from posting. Things should be back to normal now. Sorry for the interruption.”
The Twitter disruption has been reported at around 11 pm yesterday. Some cities who grumbled about the inconvenience brought by the Twitter are Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai and etc. The application and website seemed to not work completely while services like TweetDeck were apparently working for some. This issue was resolved after receiving the complaints from the people regarding connectivity issues.
Also, Airtel customers reported that they were not able to use mobile data and Airtel broadband connections. This is the second mass-outage for the telecom service provider Bharti Airtel’s, India.
