Twitter suspends 300 accounts of Jana Sena Party

Jana Sainiks are quite active on social media sites- Twitter. However, the Jana Sena party got a huge shock from the micro-blogging site as it has banned about 300 accounts belonging to the Jana Sena party members. About 300 Twitter handles of Jana Sena party in Andhra Pradesh have been suspended by the social media platform- Twitter on Tuesday.

Jana Sainiks are claiming the suspension by Twitter is a reaction to their campaign against the uranium mining in Nallamala forest in Telangana.

The account holders of the Twitter accounts received an email from Twitter on Tuesday stating the reason for the ban to platform violation and spam, and content that goes against Twitter’s guidelines.

Pawan Kalyan‘  Jana Sena party members claim their social media team was behind the hashtags ‘YS JAGAN FAILED AS CM’ and #SaveNallamala and coordinated the trend.

One of the biggest blows for the party has been the loss of their highly popular Shatagni account which was used to issue instructions to other party Twitter accounts across AP.

Jana Sena party is now left with 100 accounts that have a good number of followers.

 Jana Sena Party members say that their voice was muted as they ran the #SaveNallamala campaign.
