Two BSF Personnel injured as Pakistan Rangers open fire along IB in Jammu

Pakistani soldiers opened fire on the borders of Jammu and Kashmir. Two Border Security Force- BSF jawans were injured in firing by Pakistan Rangers along the International Border in Jammu. Pakistan Rangers opened fire on Vikram post in Arnia sector at 8.15 am on Tuesday.

 BSF statement said that two BSF jawans were hit by bullets and they were given immediate medical attention. Sources of the Indian Army said that they will mention the firing incident to Pakistan Rangers and file a complaint against them. Indian Army sources said that Pakistani forces fired at two BSF troopers who were doing electrical work near the border post when the firing started.

On February 25, 2021, India and Pakistan signed a ceasefire agreement. In this, both countries decided to strictly observe all agreements on ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.
