Madapur police arrested two accused who were selling drugs in Gachibowli. Madapur DCP Dr. Vineeth disclosed the details of the case.
Maram Pawan Kumar alias Maccha Pawan residing in Kondapur area of Hyderabad and his friend Adarsh Kumar Singh are working as delivery boys in the city. The DCP revealed that these two have been carrying out drug rackets for some time under the guise of delivery boys.
SOT Police and Madapur Police have been monitoring the movements of the accused based on the information received about them and they were arrested on Thursday.
21.7 grams of MDMA, 874 grams of ganja, one car, two cell phones and digital weighing machines worth Rs 8 lakhs were seized. DCP Vineeth explained that Pawan and Arun Kumar Singh, who are addicted to drugs, are used to a luxurious life and buy MDMA drugs from Bangalore and ganja from Odisha border at a low price and sell them in Hyderabad at a high profit.
