Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth is currently working for his next upcoming film which is titled Jailer. The upcoming action drama is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The shooting is happening at a rapid pace. Kannada actor Shivarajkumar will be seen in a pivotal role in this film which is bankrolled by Sun Pictures. Rajinikanth is the Superstar of Indian film Industry, and he has been ruling the South film industry for over four decades now. He has worked with several leading directors so far and is all set to reunite with one of the ace film directors, Mani Ratnam.
According to the latest report, Two legendary persons- Rajinikanth and Mani Ratnam will be joining hands with the director after three decades for a film. Earlier, Rajinikanth has signed a two-movie deal with Darbar makers which will be directed by Cibi Chakravarthy. However, the makers are now in plans to rope Mani Ratnam for Rajinikanth’ second film with Darbar makers.
On the other hand, Mani Ratnam is currently enjoying the success of his recently released directorial venture Ponniyin Selvan, which is breaking pre existing record at Kollywood. The buzz is that these two legendary persons will be teaming up for a movie after completing their present commitments.
In past both Rajini and Mani Ratnam, have worked together for Thalapathi which was released in 1991, and it was a huge sensation.
