U Turn actress Shraddha Srinath has been approached to play the female lead in Natural Star Nani’s upcoming drama Jersey. It is known news that Sharddha Srinath played the female lead in Kannada murder mystery drama U Turn, which was hit at the box office. Later U Turn was remade in Tamil and Telugu in which Samantha Akkineni played the female lead but the movie was turned out commercially flop at the box office. According to the latest update, the makers of Nani starrer Jersey have brought Shraddha Srinath and Malayalam actress Reba Monica John on the board to play the female leads.
Reba Monica John is cousin sister of Anu Emmanuel. Before entering in film Industry, Reba Monica John was too seen in few advertisement in which Dhatri Hair Oil was one of her notable works. In 2013, Reba Monika won the 2nd runner-up title of the reality series Midukki.
Jersey is directed by Malli Rava fame Gowtam Tinnanuri and bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments banner.
In the month of June, MCA and Ninnu Kori fame Nani confirmed the news bout Jersey on his Twitter as he wrote, “#JERSEY.” ISitara Entertainment also confirmed the same via a tweet “We are very happy to be associated with Natural Star @NameisNani garu for such a prestigious venture #Jersey. #Jersey will be very high on emotions and will have never before visuals in this genre. Shraddha Srinath started her filmy career with Malayalam movie Kohinoor in 2015. She has been the part of several hit movies like U Turn, Kaatru Veliyidai, Operation Alamelamma and Vikra Veda.
Currently Shraddha Srinath has multiple movies in her bag- Godhra, The Villain, Maara, Rustam, Milan Talkies and Shadibhagya, which are in different production stages.
On the otherside, Nani was last seen in multistarrer Devadas in which Akkineni Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna played the lead roles.
