It is known news that Chiyaan Vikram is working with his son Dhruv in an upcoming film. Few weeks ago, Karthik Subbaraj surprised everyone by announcing his next film, starring Chiyaan Vikram and his son Dhruv Vikram, and shared the first look poster.  The upcoming untitled film will go on floors right after the coronavirus lockdown ends.  Now the reports are coming that Vikram is  playing the antagonist in his son Dhruv starrer film.

In past, Vikram played a full-fledged antagonist in Iru Mugan, which was released in 2016. If the current speculations are right, the Karthik Subbaraj directorial would mark Vikram’ first role as a villain to another hero.

Many thought the upcoming film stars Vikram in the lead role and Dhruv in a cameo. But the truth is that Dhruv is playing the main  lead and Vikram will play antagonist in the film.  The sources say that Vikram liked the character and he wanted to act with his son also, so he gave his nod.

In the meantime, Karthik Subbaraj is busy with the post production of his directorial, Jagame Thantiram starring Dhanush.

Dhruva started his career in the film industry with the remake of Arjun Reddy. He did play the role twice as first version directed by Bala did not impress the producers and finally, remake released as Adithya Varma.
