Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman watched recently released movie Kantara and she bowled over by Rishab Shetty. Kantara is the next big offering from the Kannada film industry. 

 The movie Kantara has impressed people across the country, transcending borders and languages.  The film was released on 30th September  and received the positive response by the movie lovers and the critics. The movie has emerged as a blockbuster.  Kantara  has been receiving rave reviews from celebrities, critics and audiences and now the name of  Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has also been added in this list. Recently Sri Sri Ravi Shankar watched the film and was blown away by the brilliance. He appreciated Rishab Shetty and opined that the film captures the greatness of Malenadu and the richness of Tuluvanadu and Karavali.

After watching Rishab Shetty starrer, Nirmala Sitharaman tweeted: With a team of volunteers and well-wishers watched #KantaraMovie in Bengaluru. Well made @shetty_rishab(writer/director/actor) The film captures the rich traditions of Tuluvanadu and Karavali.

Apart from Rishab Shetty, Kantara also has Sapthami Gowda, Achyuth Kumar, Kishore,  and Pramod Shetty in important roles. Kantara recently crossed Rs 300 crore at the box office. According to the distributors,  the film Kantara will continue its theatrical run for the next few weeks.
